| This oil on canvas measures 20" wide by 16" tall, unframed. Royce Roberts is best known for his Texas landscapes and Hill Country scenes. Roberts captures the beauty of Texas in spring, summer and fall, but his paintings of bluebonnets come alive, giving viewers the sense of sitting right in the middle of the gorgeous blossoms. Roberts and his wife spent so much time traveling to the bluebonnets, they decided in 1977 to buy a small ranch outside of Austin. Roberts has his studio in a barn in the midst of countryside that provides him with his greatest inspiration. This painting is beautifully framed and is in perfect condition. It is signed by the artist in the lower left corner. | ||||||
