Wm Spratling Hummingbird Pin with Cascabels

This William Spratling hummingbird pin has three cascabels hanging from a ring in the grip of his beak. The pin measures approximately 2 1/4" long by 1 7/16" wide. This contemporary piece was produced at the Spratling Ranch in Taxco, Mexico. The pin is marked on the back with the Spratling 925 silver mark, as well as TS-24.
