This beautiful handcarved German Black Forest shelf depicts a winged angel and dates to the turn of the century. It measures 12 1/2" high by 9 1/2" wide by 5 1/2" deep. The details in the angel's features and the entire shelf are superb! The piece does have minor blemishes to the wood, as pictured. This is an unusual and beautiful Art Nouveau carving and makes a wonderful decorative item or a practical shelf as well.
