This romantic figural period lamp depicts an Arab ivory merchant. The details are exquisite, from the vibrant colors of the rugs to the facial features of the merchant. This mixed metal piece is of Austrian or German origin and dates from the 1920's. It is in original and working condition, has a nice patina, and is newly rewired. It measures 9 3/4" high by 6 1/4" wide.

This unique three decanter tantalus-on-stand of English design features a beveled mirrored back, two beveled glass doors which open to the tobacco compartment, and a gaming drawer. The cabinet is probably oak, highlighted by 15 unusual but elegant scrolled sterling fittings. The single drawer handle and the two side handles are also sterling.
