This set of 4 candle holders are glass with sterling rims. They measure 2 1/8" high by 2 3/8" wide. They are marked "Frank M. Whiting, Sterling, Pat. Pending." There is beading aroung the upper edge of the sterling rim. This set of candle holders is in great condition, with only a few small pit marks, and one very small ding.
This sterling fish set was made by George Adams, circa 1863, London. The two piece set is in its original fitted presentation box. Both pieces are pierced as well as engraved. Both pieces are hallmarked in two places. This set is just beautiful, and in great condition.
