This circa 1890 sterling Art Nouveau card case measures 3 1/2" tall by 2 1/2" wide. The case is marked sterling on the inner rim where the lid closes. There is a beautiful flower, leaf, and vine pattern on both sides. This case is in excellent condition, with one very small dent on the side near the hinge.

This Reed & Barton sterling silver compote depicts a mermaid holding a silver bowl. It is a wonderful example of American high art deco and dates to 1933. The base has a monogram of the letter 'D'.
