This classic but unusual biedermeier commode, or small chest, features a bowed-front door, that opens to the right. The interior is divided by one shelf. The piece is of veneered burled fruitwood. It measures 30 1/2" high, 33 1/2" long, and 17 1/4" deep, and has original key. The piece is in excellent condition, with a replacement back, which does not show when up against a wall.
This pair of circa 1830's Beidermeier chairs features a beautiful fruitwood veneer. The fan back is inset with a carved butterfly. Both chairs are in original condition, with small veneer replacement necessary (see pictures). Each chair measures 34 1/2" high by 20" wide by 17" deep.
