A bargain at $2500.00 

This classic but unusual biedermeier commode, or small chest, features a bowed-front door, that opens to the right. The interior is divided by one shelf. The piece is of veneered burled fruitwood. It measures 30 1/2" high, 33 1/2" long, and 17 1/4" deep, and has original key. The piece is in excellent condition, with a replacement back, which does not show when up against a wall.

This round tray by Tiffany & Co measures 10 1/4" across. It is monogrammed in the center of the tray, and dates from 1907-1947. The piece does show some surface scratches. It is marked on the reverse "Tiffany & Co Makers Sterling Silver 22195 M."

This set of 4 lunch forks by Tiffany & Co. is in the "Armour" pattern. They were made by John Polhemus for Tiffany & Co, patent 1860. Each fork is monogrammed with an elaborate "S", and measures 7 1/8" long. Each fork weighs at least 1.5 troy ounces. They are marked "J P Patent 1860 Sterling Tiffany & Co."

This sterling silver serving spoon was made by Henry Hebbard in the 1860's for Tiffany & Co. This interesting piece is ornamented with a ram's head at the tip of the handle, looking down over a strawberry on top of the devil's head. On the reverse side, the back of the ram's head is seen at the top of the handle, and a large strawberry adorns where the handle meets the bowl. The name "Pickett" is monogrammed on the handle. This pair of circa 1830's Beidermeier chairs features a beautiful fruitwood veneer. The fan back is inset with a carved butterfly. Both chairs are in original condition, with small veneer replacement necessary (see pictures). Each chair measures 34 1/2" high by 20" wide by 17" deep.

SOLD 

This beautiful Royal Copenhagen blue fluted half lace compote/centerpiece dates to the late 19th century. The two pieces were purchased together in Europe in the 1930's. The top bowl's mark dates to 1923 and the figural base bears the mark for 1898. The piece measures 15 1/2 inches high and 11 inches wide and is distinguished by three children supporting the first bowl while the larger top piece rests perfectly on the first bowl.
